Strawberry Limeade Kombucha Popsicles

We are bringing it back to a classic childhood favorite; strawberry popsicles! However, let's kick it up a notch with a bit of tang from lime and throw in some kombucha! With my Strawberry Limeade Kombucha Popsicles, you can teleport back to summer days as a kid while also promoting a healthy gut!

I remember having those stereotypical Florida summer days where your best friend came over, you ran through sprinklers in your swimsuit, and ate strawberry popsicles until your tongues turned bright red. Those were the days! That memory popped into my head while I was drinking a strawberry kombucha one day. Thus, the idea was formed!

I love kombucha! Its a great alternative to juice and soda and it is amazing at balancing your gut. Kombucha is fermented tea which means it is full of amazing probiotics that create a healthier microbiome in your GI tract. Having good bacteria in your gut makes your GI tract work more efficiently and reduces inflammation in numerous ways. Did you know that about 70% of your immune cells live in your gut? This means what you eat is very important for your health and well-being, especially for those who suffer from immunocompromising illnesses. I am going to write an entire post on probiotics and gut health very soon so keep an eye out! Kombucha also has this amazing tartness to it that pairs well with sweet things like strawberries! There are also so many different brands and flavors to kombucha so the popsicle possibilities are truly endless! The kombucha I used is the classic GT's Synergy Raw Kombucha in the flavor strawberry serenity, which you can find at pretty much every grocery store nowadays. It is an amazing brand that uses really good ingredients.

These popsicles are incredibly easy! Just simply blend everything in a blender and then pour into your popsicle molds and Voilà! I ordered my mold from amazon and I love it! The recipe makes anywhere from 8-10 popsicles depending on the size of your molds.

Strawberry Limeade Kombucha Popsicles

Prep time: 10 min Freeze time: 3 hours

Total time: 3 hrs 10 min

Servings: 8-10

1 bottle of strawberry kombucha, GT's

1 1/2 cups strawberries, halved

1 tbsp agave syrup *

1/2 lime, juice and zest


1. Wash and cut strawberries into halves

2. Place all ingredients into a blender (preferably a high speed blender) and blend until smooth and completely liquified.

3. Gently stir the mixture with a spoon to dissipate most of the bubbles on the top.

4. Fill popsicle molds about 3/4 of the way full and place in freezer.

5. Freeze for at least 3 hours and Enjoy!


** If you want to make these 100% raw, replace the agave syrup with raw agave syrup or use three dates for your sweetener, whichever you prefer.
